Gorgeous long strand of faceted banded agate beads hand knotted on silk, at 36" long it's perfect for doubling. I really love banded agate and these beads are quite fabulous as they are hand faceted, the clasp is Pinchbeck and quite lovely as well. Circa 1850, newly restrung as the old silk was frayed.

Details.....The necklace is 36" long, the beads 7.9mm and the clasp measures 5.2mm x 15.4mm. In Very good antique condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewelry, we consider it a part of the charm.
